The cookies and browser storage Angry Dance Filter uses, and how to control them
2026/10/27
Angry Dance Filter is an independent website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by CapCut, TikTok, ByteDance, or the creators of the template videos it references.
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies angrydance.video uses, what each one is for, and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. What Cookies and Browser Storage Are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. We also use your browser's local storage and session storage, which work in a similar way but are never sent to our servers automatically. Below, "cookies" covers all of these unless the difference matters.
2. Cookies We Use
We don't use advertising, retargeting, or social-media tracking cookies. Everything we do use is listed below.
Strictly necessary
These keep you signed in and keep the Service secure. Blocking them will sign you out and may stop checkout from working.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
angrydance.session_token | Keeps you signed in | 7 days, renewed while you use the Service |
angrydance.session_data | Caches your session so pages load faster | 1 hour |
Cloudflare security cookies (for example __cf_bm) | Set by our hosting provider to tell people from bots | As set by Cloudflare |
On HTTPS the session cookie names carry a __Secure- prefix. A few short-lived cookies may also be set while you complete Google or GitHub sign-in.
Preferences and functionality
| Cookie or storage | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
NEXT_LOCALE | Remembers the site language | 1 year |
active_theme | Remembers the display theme | 1 year |
sidebar_state | Remembers whether the account sidebar is open | 7 days |
g_state | Set by Google's sign-in script to remember that you closed the Google One Tap prompt | As set by Google |
| Local storage | Remembers a video that is still generating, or a submission that hasn't been confirmed yet, so you can come back to it without being charged twice; also remembers your display mode and the notices and pop-ups you have already seen | Until you clear it |
| Session storage | Notes that you have just signed in, so the page can finish what you started | Until you close the tab |
Analytics
| Cookie or storage | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
site_ref (and site_referral in local storage) | Records how you first reached us — the referring site, campaign tags, and landing page. It is saved to your account when you sign up, so we can see which channels bring users | 30 days |
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics: measures visits and how features are used | Set by Google Analytics |
| Microsoft Clarity cookies and storage | Usage analytics, including how visitors interact with pages | Set by Microsoft Clarity |
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are loaded only while we have those services switched on for the site.
3. Cookies Set on Other Sites
You pay on Stripe's own checkout page, and you sign in with Google or GitHub on their pages. Those services set their own cookies there, under their own privacy and cookie policies.
4. How to Control Cookies
- Block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will sign you out and may stop checkout from working.
- To opt out of Google Analytics on every site, install Google's opt-out browser add-on.
- Local and session storage are removed when you clear the site data for angrydance.video in your browser.
5. Changes to This Policy
We update this policy when we add, remove, or change a cookie. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
